Woodvale is delighted to announce the signing of dual Passport holding quick Ronan Restieaux for their 2022 NCU Premier League campaign.
Towering kiwi seamer
Restieaux is a towering opening bowler and hard-hitting lower to middle-order batter coming through the Central Districts ranks in New Zealand.
Standing 6 foot 5, Restieaux has enjoyed a glittering junior career and is now pushing for Central Stags’ selection.
Quite the prospect…
The quick, who comes highly recommended by Nelson Head Coach, BJ Barnett, has represented his Minor Association, (Nelson) playing Hawke Cup cricket since the age of 15.
Over the past two seasons, he has starred for the Central Districts Under-17s, and last summer (2020/21) was involved with the CD Fast Bowling Camp and NZ Under-19 Winter Camp.
The 2020/21 season was a strong one for Restieaux. He regularly opened the bowling for Nelson, who enjoyed a stellar season culminating with Chapple Cup (CD 50-Over tournament), and Hawke Cup (NZ’s Minor Association Competition), glory.
Ronan set for Irish gig
