Alvaston and Boulton is pleased to announce the signing of talented left-arm tweaker Callum Stow for their 2023 Derbyshire Premier League campaign.
Stow is a dual Passport holding left-arm chinaman bowler playing for Geelong Cricket Club in the strong Victorian Premier Cricket competition.
A hugely talented tweaker, Stow plays predominantly Premier 2nds for Geelong, albeit has featured in the top flight and is banging on the door for a prolonged run.
Utilising his British Passport, Stow embarked on his maiden UK stint last summer (2022) and impressed for Urmston in the Cheshire County League. Courtesy of his 52 poles at 18, with best figures of 6-37, he was invited to net bowl for several Counties. He aspires to break into 2nd XI cricket this summer, and potentially earn a contract in future.
Stow will potentially get this opportunity in 2023 given he’s set to return this summer having signed with Alvaston and Boulton for their Derbyshire Premier League campaign.
An exciting prospect, it’s fair to say he’ll be out to impress this coming season.
