Arran Brown is a talented seam bowling all-rounder from Sussex, England.
Arran plays his Saturday cricket for Three Bridges in the Sussex Premier League and is a regular in the senior 1st XI. A tall left-armer who bowls at good pace, Brown has all the attributes to continue developing into a regular performer.
Since breaking into the 1st XI back in 2019, Arran has been a regular fixture in his club's top side taking 23 wickets in 2021, 24 wickets in 2023, and 35 wickets last season. An opening bowler who looks to genuinely swing the new ball, Arran has also contributed down the order with some useful runs for the side. A left-hander with a solid technique, the 24-year-old scored 348 runs @ 18.32 in 2022 and backed that up with an impressive 319 runs at 31 in 2023.
The Englishman is fresh of a flag winning season in Melbourne for Edinburgh Cricket Club where he contributed with both bat and ball throughout the season. He is now eager to return overseas, ideally to Sydney.
