Akhilesh Sahani is an accomplished batting all-rounder who has been involved with Indian provincial side, Arunachal Pradesh.
A genuine all-rounder, Sahani bats in the middle-order and bowls brisk seam-up. Since his professional debut during the 2018/19 season, has scored around 1,400 runs alongside 76 wickets, with best figures of 102* and 5-91, with bat and ball, respectively.
The 2022/23 season was arguably this best, finishing third in his sides Ranji Trophy run charts, topped by CricX star Rahul Dalal. He also bagged his maiden first-class 5-for against Mizoram to evidence his all-round ability.
Surprisingly, Sahani hasn't featured in domestic cricket since, but is set to showcase his stills abroad in 2025 having signed with Truro for their Cornwall League campaign.
