CricX are excited to announce Deepdene Uniting’s signing of Adam Peat for the 2023/24 season.

A product of the Staffordshire County Cricket Club age group system, Adam was picked up at U15’s to join the Derbyshire County Cricket Club Academy. Remaining with the County for three years, the right-arm seamer went on to make his senior 2nd XI debut for the county in 2017.

In Club Cricket, Adam joined Fordhouses of the South Staffordshire Premier League back in 2017. Since then he has been one of the Leagues most consistent all-rounders over a number of years. The tall quick has taken 106 wickets across the last 4 seasons, and in 2022 returned 34 wickets at an average of 24.32.

Also a hard hitting right-hander, Adam chalked up over 400 runs last season averaging an impressive 25.41. An underrated middle-order player, Peat is capable of scoring runs in all situations, and this was proven last season when he compiled four half-centuries and a best of 62 against Tamworth.

We wish Adam and everyone at Deepdene Uniting all the best for their upcoming campaign.
