CricX are excited to announce Bayside Cricket Club’s signing of Dylan Woolley for their 2023/24 campaign.
A talented Sussex born batter, Dylan predominantly opens the batting and bases his game around a solid technique against the new ball. Playing for his home club, the 18-year-old turns out for Hastings & St Leonards Priory in Division Two of the Sussex Cricket League.
The left hander has progressed through the junior ranks of Hastings Priory in recent years and secured his senior 1st XI debut back in 2019. In 2021, the former Sussex County Cricket Club age-group batter chalked up 250 runs in 10 innings at an average of 26.82 in the clubs 2nd XI.
Following on from a breakthrough year, Woolley has gone on to average in the mid-twenties for 1st XI since the start of the 2022 campaign. Dylan recorded his maiden half-century in the 1st team on 03/06/2023, when the youngster struck 62 off 86 balls opening the batting for the Southern based side.
