CricX are excited to announce that Notts Premier League star Drew Owen has signed for Rosedale Kilmany Cricket Club for the 2023/24 season.

A right-handed middle-order batter, Drew currently plays senior 1st XI for Cuckney Cricket Club in the strongly renowned Nottinghamshire Premier League.

A product of the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club junior pathway, the right-arm off-spinner has represented Nott’s U18 for the last 3 years. A reliable and consistent operator, the 18-year-old has picked up 60 wickets at an impressive average of 24.08.

For club side Cuckney, Drew has been a senior 1st XI regular since 2021. The midlands prospect took 14 wickets in 2021; before backing up a superb breakthrough year by adding another 29 wickets in 2022. With the bat in hand, Owen has yet to settle into a role for the Notts Prem giants. However he has made a 2nd XI senior hundred, whilst also adding valuable runs in recent years when the opportunity arises.

We would like to wish Drew and everyone at Rosedale Kilmany CC all the best for their 2023/24 campaign.
