CricX are ecstatic to announce Wayback Cricket Club’s signing of Subhan Ramzan for the 2023/24 season.
Ramzan is a talented batting all-rounder from Surrey, England.
The stylish right-hander is currently a member of the Middlesex County Cricket Club age-group pathway, and has represented the London based County since the age of 12.
In club cricket, Subhan currently plays for Sunbury in the Surrey Championship – Premier Division. After making his 1st XI debut for the club back in 2020, the impressive 18-year-old has gone on to be a regular fixture for his clubs 1st team over recent seasons.
In 2022, Ramzan who often bats in the middle-order enjoyed a breakthrough season. The attacking Middlesex prospect scored his maiden senior hundred back in July 2022. Subhan smashed 105 not out, including 13 boundaries at better than a run a ball as Sunbury drew with Esher.
As well as batting in the top-order, the Surrey based talent also bowls right-arm medium pace and predominantly looks to swing the ball away from the right-hander. In 1st XI cricket, the all-rounder has picked up 27 wickets at an average of 28.78 across 3 seasons for the Surrey Premier Division side.
