CricX are excited to announce Bonbeach Cricket Club’s signing of Robyn Childe for the 2023/24 Season.
Robyn is a talented middle order batter and left arm seamer. Childe has played all through county age group cricket right up to the Yorkshire Women’s team alongside the well known international players Katherine Sciver-Brunt, Lauren Winfield-Hill and Danni Hazel (to name a few!). She stopped playing cricket during her 20’s due to professional commitments.
Robyn returned to the game in 2021, captaining the local ladies team and has advanced from the men’s 2nd XI squad to their 1st XI squad this season. Yapham Women’s team are undefeated this season, with Robyn mostly contributing with the bat (53*, 54*, 48*)
Robyn is and extremely enthusiastic, high energy player that contributes with both bat, ball and in the field.Her best figures this season are 7/32 from a 13 over spell in the men’s Yorkshire premier league, division one.
