Timperley is delighted to announce the re-signing of Australian spin bowling all-rounder Caedence Kuepper for their 2024 Cheshire League campaign.

Kuepper is a hugely impressive leg spinner from Tasmania, Australia. The Aussie also has the added benefit of holding a UK Ancestry Visa.

The youngster is a proven first-grade leg spinner playing for the South Hobart Sandy Bay Cricket Club in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League. Coming off a strong 2021/22 season (32 wickets at 20), Kuepper continued to shine in 2022/23 and is now pushing for higher honours.

While bowling is his primary skill, Kuepper is also a capable lower-order batter as highlighted by an unbeaten 77 made after coming in as a night-watchman in 2020.

Kuepper has been a highly-rated player in the Tasmanian system for several years, having represented Tasmania at both U17, and U19 level. During the latter, he was the side’s leading wicket-taker in the 2019/20 National Carnival. He has also been a key member of Cricket Tasmania’s Academy Program over the past few seasons.

The tweaker was selected as a “reserve player” for the Adelaide Strikers in the 2020/21 BBL Hub and is hoping his season in England will help fast-track him to full Big Bash selection.

Kuepper really is a serious talent who also excelled for Timperley in the Cheshire County League in 2023 (594 runs at 31.26 and 50 wickets at 20.78).

Given his success, it’s unsurprising to see Timperley has re-signed their Australian young gun for a second stint in 2024.
