Liam Hayman is a promising all-rounder currently making his mark in New Zealand's Waikato Valley.
Holder of an Irish Passport, Hayman is a genuine all-rounder who bats in the top-order and bowls right-arm off-spin.
After graduating from the prestigious Hamilton College, where he excelled in the 1st XI, he has played top flight club cricket in the Waikato Valley District Competition for Morrinsville Piako Cricket Club.
Currently into his third season for MPCC, Hayman has not only cemented his spot, but secured representative honours with the Waikato Valley provincial team.
A talented cricketer eager to push for higher honours, Hayman travelled abroad in 2024, representing North Down throughout their Northern Cricket Union campaign. Racking up 14 wickets at an average of 23.64, Liam also scored 238 runs at an average of 20 in what was a wet Summer.
Keen to return to Ireland in 2025, no doubt with a season overseas now under his belt, the 'Kiwi' will be looking to build on last years performances.
