Cannock have re-signed current Zimbabwean international, Ainsley Ndlovu, for their 2024 South Staffordshire Cricket League campaign.

Ndlovu is a talented left-arm spinner who broke into the Zimbabwean national set-up in June 2019.

He featured in 2 ODI’s, 2 Tests, and 8 T20I’s, with his most recent matches coming against Namibia in October 2023.

His initial inclusion was due to his exploits for the Tuskers Franchise across all formats. Playing in a side flooded with international stars, including the likes of Craig Ervine, Brian Chari, Sean Williams, and John Nyumbu, to name but a few, Ndlovu has enjoyed plenty of success in domestic cricket.

Since his Logan Cup debut in 2014/15, the tweaker has taken 119 wickets at 30.99 in 41 first-class matches. In 50-over cricket, he boasts a further 65 wickets at 28.24 in 55 List A matches. He has been one of the stand-out left-arm spinners in domestic cricket.

Over the past two seasons, Ndlovu has played for Cannock in the Staffordshire Club Cricket Championship. He has been a league stand-out hitting 1,373 runs at 41.61 alongside 74 wickets at 15.78.

Given his success over the past two seasons, Cannock has re-signed Ndlovu for a third stint in 2024.
