St Albans is pleased to announce the re-signing of Zimbabwean U19 all-rounder Connor Mitchell for their 2024 Hertfordshire League campaign.
Mitchell is a hugely talented all-rounder from Zimbabwe who benefits from a British Passport.
Mitchell, who represented Zimbabwe U19s at the ICC Under 19s World Cup in 2022, is an impressive young cricketer eager to make his way in the game.
The dual Passport holder enjoyed 10 outings for his country, averaging 30 with the bat including a highest score of 73 against Ireland. The all-rounder also bagged 11 wickets with his left-arm finger spin.
Mitchell is a currently member of the Mashonaland Eagles domestic squad and hopes to break into the professional fold shortly.
Over the past two seasons, he has enjoyed successful stints in the UK for Warley in the Halifax League (2022: 720 runs at 25.71 and 59 wickets at 23.54), and St Albans in the Hertfordshire League (2023: 343 runs at 20.18 and 37 wickets at 19.81).
Given his success last summer, St Albans was swift to re-sign the dual Passport holder for their 2024 campaign.
