Ryan O'Brien is an impressive batting all-rounder (Seam) from Manchester, England.
The Englishman is a fluent right handed top order batter and right arm medium quick bowler who can win a game with either discipline.
At club level the all-rounder has been starring in the Cheshire County Cricket League for a number of years. 2023 was his 1st year as club Pro at Urmston Cricket Club, where he impressed with over 600 runs at 33 & took 30 wickets at 19. O'Brien had previously impressed with Lindow Cricket Club, before being headhunted for the Pro gig at Urmston.
O'Brien has also been part of the Cheshire County Cricket Club set up for a number of years, and has impressed for the 2nd XI side, and is hoping to break into the 1st XI on a regular basis in 2024. The all-rounder is no stranger to Aussie shores either, as he impressed as afresh faced 18 year old for Brunswick Cricket Club in the VSDCA.
Now older & wiser and a far better cricket he is keen to return for the 2024/25 season. The Englishman is also a keen and qualified coach. No doubt a player in huge demand and one we see excelling next season.
