Patrick Gouge is an exciting young wicket-keeper batter from Jersey.

Currently playing in the North East for Durham UCCE (formerly MCCU), the 21-year-old is studying alongside playing club cricket in the North East Premier League.

The former Hampshire Academy batter broke into the Jersey National Senior Side in 2023, playing in the T20 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Scotland and the European Cricket Conference in Spain. Having already scored 100 runs in T20s to start this year, he is looking to push on and nail down a spot for the upcoming T20 World Cup Qualifiers and the return of the ICC Challenge League as the Jersey side seek to book their spot at the Cricket World Cup.

Gouge is an exceptional fielder in the mold of the Jersey side, and also keeps wicket and is seeking to do so for the national side alongside club cricket. With a T20 strike rate of over 150, he is known for his attacking style and ability to take the game away from opponents.

Gouge has recently signed for East Malvern Tooronga Cricket Club in Melbourne for their Eastern Cricket Association campaign.
