Tarling is a fluent left handed top order batter and slippery right arm medium quick bowler who plays for Leicestershire County Cricket Club 2nd XI, having previously been in the Academy.
The Englishman was the highest run scorer in the country for the 2023 under 18s County season where played for Leicestershire. Due to his strong performances he was picked for the North side in the ECB Super 4s, where ehe excelled with back to back hundreds. After an impressive summer the all-rounder was picked for England Young Lions to plays against Australia and Ireland 19s.
The impressive Tarling also represents Bedfordshire County Cricket Club in the NCCA (Minor County) in both One Day and 3 Day formats, and is hoping to push ahead into Professional cricket in the near future. At club level Tarling plays for Buckingham Town Cricket Club in the Home Counties Premier League. The all-rounder spent last winter on the Darren Lehmann Academy in Adelaide, where he also played in SACA Premier Cricket for Northern Districts.
The Englishman is now keen to head overseas this winter, no doubt a serious signing for any club looking for a batting all-rounder for the season.
