Despite starting the 2023/24 season with a significant injury sustained during the first game and missing the first 6 weeks, Crichton worked hard to recover, finishing the season being awarded Premier reserves ‘Bowler of the Year’ with 21 wickets in just 13 innings and 118 overs, with an economy of 4.59, average of 25.81, and strike rate of 33.81, across all three formats.
The talented British Passport holder is also a keen coach, holding both an ICC Foundation & NZC Foundation certificate. Crichton is keen to be part of a clubs junior coaching structure when overseas.
Crichton is now looking forward to a strong season with the Kumeu Premier side this coming 2024/25 NZ summer before heading to the UK in 2025.
