Jake has progressed through the ranks for the strong WA club, making his 2nd Grade debut at just 16. Recently, he earned his 1st Grade debut in the T20 competition at 18.
At just 18 years old, he has his sights on breaking into the 1st grade side on a permanent basis this winter, having started the season strongly with the bat, further cementing his reputation as a cricketer with considerable potential.
Beyond Premier Cricket, Jake was instrumental in Trinity College East Perth’s success, where he emerged as the leading run-scorer in the PSA competition. As an opening batter, he amassed an impressive 712 runs across 14 innings, boasting an average of 54. His consistency and skill at the top of the order have marked him as one of the most promising talents in school cricket.
Jake’s standout performances have earned him a place in the U19s talent pathway system, where he continues to push for selection in the Western Australia U19 squad.
Holding an Irish passport, Collingwood is now set to expand his horizons in 2025, heading to the Northern Hemisphere for the upcoming Summer.
