The 18-year-old has an impressive Cricketing CV to date. The 'Saffa' has recently represented Northern District U19's as well as playing Cape Town Premier League Cricket for Edgemead Cricket Club.
An attractive right-handed top-order batter, Botha currently plays for Boland U19's and has represented the Province on 5 occasions already during the 2024/25 season. Last season, Charl average nearly 60 in Western Province School Fixtures and has continued to build on his school performances in Senior Cricket this year.
With ambitions to play the Sport professionally, Botha is seeking a Club in either Holland or The Republic Of Ireland for the 2025 Season; seeing this as a vital step in his development.
Botha is deemed a 'Pathway' player due to his U19 representative games meaning he is ineligible for the UK scene, however he will no doubt be a handy signing for any EU Club that he joins up with from April onwards.
