A talented 19-year-old, Siyabonga is a right-handed opening batter currently playing Senior Cricket for Rylands Cricket Club.
An accomplished and organised batter, the 'Saffa' has repressend Western Province since the age of 11. Currently plying his trade in the U19's side, Siyabonga has been an ever present in the XI since the start of 2023.
His debut for the academy came against a Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club XI back in 2023, scoring a maiden century and winning batsman of the tournament. He also debuted for the Colts side against Boland in the same season, scoring 85 and claiming player of the match. More recently Venge was player of the match at the 2024 Coke Week, scoring 57 as Western Province won the finals against the Lions.
With an impressive Cricketing CV, the youngster is hoping to continue his fine form with his first overseas stint at the conclusion of his home Summer. Available for Holland & The Republic Of Ireland, Venge is deemed 'Pathway' due to his Rep Cricket and will no doubt be a terrific addition for his chose EU Club.
