** Updated profile for 2025 coming soon... **

Nathan Schoultz is a talented batter wicket-keeper playing for both Rondebosch Boys’ High School and Cape Town Cricket Club in South Africa.

Holder of a British Passport, Schoultz will shortly finish his studies and is thereafter looking to ply his trade in UK league cricket throughout the 2022 season.

The gloveman has represented Western Province through the age groups (U11-U14) and has, more recently, skippered Rondebosch Boys’ 2nd XI, hitting 484 runs at 40.42 (S/R: 95.73) in 2020.

Jaco Zeeman, the school’s 1st XI coach produced the following statement:

"Nathan has developed his cricket in the Rondebosch Boys’ High School cricket program since January 2017. He is a naturally talented sportsman that has excelled in a number of sporting codes including squash, cricket, and hockey. He possesses a vast array of skills both on and off the field that could benefit any team or institution he represents. Nathan is popular among his peers and respected as a Rondebosch sportsman.

In terms of character, Nathan is an easygoing, witty, and confident individual. Once he sets his mind on achieving something, he commits fully and always gives it his best effort.

As a cricketer, he is a right-handed top-order batter and a tidy wicketkeeper. With a bit of maturity and awareness around his game, he will develop into a top cricketer. He is most notable for being able to score quickly, which makes him extremely difficult to bowl to. Nathan strikes a cricket ball cleanly. When Nathan gives it his best effort with the gloves, he is as good as any of the top wicketkeepers that have played for the Rondebosch 1st XI.

Nathan has excelled in cricket during his time at Rondebosch. He finished amongst the top batters for Rondebosch at age group level (U14A & U15A) and in 2020 contributed with significant runs in the school’s 2nd XI, which has seen him edge closer to a potential debut for the school’s 1st XI".
