CricX are excited to announce Marist Brothers Cricket Club double signing of Connor Lord and Connor Thomson for their upcoming 2023/24 Far North Coast Cricket Council campaign.

Lord bowls at good pace and prides himself on his ability to open the bowling and look to take early wickets on a regular basis. Connor is also currently 1XI team captain for his club side Tonge playing in the newly formed North West Cricket League for the upcoming season.

In total, he took 51 wickets @ 19.96 in 2022 boasting an economy rate of 4.04. Over the last 3 season the Boltonian has claimed 93 wickets establishing himself as one of the best opening bowlers across the Lancashire leagues.

Connor Thomson is widely regarded as one of the best gloveman on the circuit and is a more than useful lower order batsman. Thomson plays for Tonge Cricket Club (formerly Bolton League) in the newly formed North West Cricket League, which will be one of the strongest leagues in the North of England.

Tompson has had limited opportunities with the bat in recent years, but this is something he is really working on and keen to develop into a proven 1st XI top order batsman moving forward. The Pommie has a strong worth ethic and has really put the time in on his game this off season.

We wish Connor² and everyone at Marist Brothers Cricket Club all the best for the upcoming season.
