CricX are excited to announce another signing by Bayside Cricket Club. Daniel Stock, a right-handed top order batsman from Manchester, UK joins the Cricket Southern Bayside outfit for their 2023/24 campaign.
A current member of the Myerscough Cricket College based at Lancashire’s Old Trafford Cricket Ground, the talented young batter has spent two years studying, whilst working on all three facets of his game.
Playing his Club Cricket for Shaw in the Greater Manchester Cricket League – Premier Division, Daniel is yet find his feet with the bat. Only 18-years-old, Stock is a regular in the Shaw 1st XI and with a good technique will continue to ply his trade for the GMCL side.
For his College, Stock has struck an impressive 805 runs at an average of 42.37 since the beginning of the 2021 season. A stand out highlight of his 2 year stay at Myerscough was a stunning 212* against Yorkshire Cricket College back in June, 2021. Hitting 39 boundaries in a 106 ball innings, Daniel helped his side amass 511-3 in a 40 over fixture.
