CricX are delighted to announce that Easts Cricket Club Bundaberg have signed English All-Rounder Ollie horne for the 2023/24 season.
Horne is an exciting right-arm fast bowling all-rounder from Gloucestershire, England.
The right-arm quick is currently studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University and is a member of the 1st XI side that won the 2023 National BUCS Championship. Across 3 seasons, Horne has picked up 17 wickets for the Welsh Uni side, each taken at an impressive 21.35.
Ollie is a tall bowler and currently represents his home club of Dumbleton in the West Of England Premier Cricket League. In 2022, the talented 22-year-old took 27 league wickets for his club side, with each coming at an average of 19.30 and often picked up whilst taking the new ball.
After studying quite a distance away from his hometown, Ollie has found it difficult to play consistently for Dumbleton. However, in 2023 he has been a regular fixture for his side; and has gone on to pick up 16 wickets so far at an average of 27.13. Also a handy right-handed lower order batter, Ollie has notched up 217 runs at an average 36.17 this season (03/07/2023), including two half centuries and a best of 57.
