CricX are delighted to announce Woodbridge Cricket Club’s signing of Jake Martin for the 2023/24 season.
Martin currently plays for Steyning Cricket Club in the Sussex Cricket League, where he has now broken into the 1st team, after previously playing for the famous Horsham Cricket Club. In 2022 the Englishman took 22 wickets at an average of 25, and also chipped in with valuable runs down the order.
The seamer is also a keen coach, holding an ECB Foundation Level 1 Coaching Qualification and this is something he is keen to do whilst overseas. He has a keen interest with working with younger players and developing them moving forward. Jake is also a very good fielder and prides himself on setting the standard in the field.
No doubt a good club man, and a player keen to explore opportunities for the coming season. Whilst travelling with a few mates who also play at a good level.
