** Updated profile for 2025 coming soon... **

Anna Gaging is a Kent-born kiwi cricketer coming through the Nelson and Central Districts ranks in New Zealand.

The dual Passport holder has made quite an impression in the infancy of her fledgling career, and seems destined for regular professional honours.

A pace bowler, and hard-hitting lower-middle order batter, Gaging broke into the Central Hinds Women’s side early in 2021, playing two matches against Otago (T20), and Canterbury (50 Over), respectively.

Gaging, who has a twin sister, Kate, has been involved with the Hind’s wider squad since the age of 17. She was named MVP for both her regional competition (Shrimpton Trophy) and in her Nelson team for the season ending in 2022, having dominated with the ball and been the leading run scorer in her team.

Unfortunately, injury shortly thereafter stunted her progress, but she is now back firing on all cylinders and keen to make up for lost time.

She is eager to return to her country-of-birth in 2024 to play club cricket, in a view to pushing for higher honours.

Alongside her obvious playing skills, she is an experienced coach who has worked for Nelson Cricket, assisting with their female pathway, for numerous years. She is hoping to obtain a formal qualification by the end of the current New Zealand season. A fantastic acquisition for any UK club in 2024.
