Bismillah Khan is a wicket-keeper batter who has graced Pakistan’s domestic circuit for well over a decade.
Since his first-class debut for Quetta in 2009/10, Khan has gone on to play over 270 matches across the three formats. During this period, he has notched up well over 8,000 runs, with 8 centuries, and averages nudging 30 in the first-class, and List A formats, respectively.
Throughout his illustrious career, Khan has represented a host of domestic sides, and won his fair share of trophies, including the Pakistan Cup, Kashmir Premier League, and has been a 3-time Pakistan Super League finalist.
In recent years, he has played in the President’s Trophy Grade 1 (FC) for Water and Power Development Authority, alongside the likes of international stars Ahmed Shehzad, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Umar Akmal.
He has enjoyed success throughout his career, but his first-class numbers have been on the rise since COVID, with season tallies of 327 runs at 32.70 (2020/21), and 559 runs at 46.58 (201/22), with 3 centuries during this period.
The veteran Pakistani gloveman has also enjoyed two brief stints in the UK, initially for Burslem (North Staffs and South Cheshire League) back in 2022, for a 12-game stint with Watsonian (Eastern Premier League) last summer (344 runs at 28.67).
Khan is now eager to return abroad, ideally for a full season, next summer.
