Buddhika Sanjeewa

Buddhika Sanjeewa is a seasoned seam-bowling all-rounder with a wealth of experience in Sri Lankan domestic cricket, representing Badureliya Sports Club across formats since his List A debut in 2007. Over a career spanning more than 140 matches, he has built a reputation as a dependable performer, particularly in the shorter formats, combining disciplined bowling with useful lower-order contributions with the bat.

Sanjeewa has also made a significant impact overseas. In Australia, he excelled for Cowaramup in the Margaret River Cricket Association, taking 63 wickets at 8.27 in 2016/17 and following up with 29 wickets at 9.03 the next season. His UK stints with Conisbrough (Championship Division of the Cricket Yorkshire Southern Premier League) between 2021 and 2025 have been exceptional, where across all cricket for the club he amassed 4,862 runs at 37.40 and 328 wickets at 17.88. In 2025 alone, he scored 1,686 runs at 56.20 and claimed 71 wickets at 16.49 (as at 14 Aug 2025), underlining his match-winning potential.

Highly respected both on and off the field, Sanjeewa brings experience, consistency, and a professional attitude.
