Chintan Gaja is an accomplished all-rounder and current skipper of the powerhouse Gujarat side in Indian domestic cricket.

Playing in the top tier of Indian professional cricket, alongside the likes of Indian stars Piyush Chawla and Parthiv Patel, Gaja has excelled since making his T20 debut during the 2013/14 season.

Following his T20 debut, he would go on to break into first-class and List A cricket in 2016/17, and Gaja has since become one of the stand-out performers across the three formats, and has recently taken over the captaincy of the State.

After 50 first-class matches, Gaja has bagged 180 wickets at 22.82 with 10 five wicket hauls and best figures of 8/40. The trend is similar in both white ball formats with 80 wickets at 22.72, and 45 wickets at 19.44, in List A and T20, respectively.

Whilst known for his bowling, Gaja has proven to be a very useful batter in the lower-middle order. Over 1,000 Ranji Trophy runs with an average of 17.89 and 6 fifties to boot.

Courtesy of his exploits, the Gujarat bowling all-rounder has generated national interest with West Zone inclusion for the past few Duldeep Trophy campaigns.

The Indian star is a player that comes highly recommended by several top-end domestic players, is now looking to ply his trade abroad in 2025. Gaja will be keen to impress, as he has done so in domestic cricket to date.
