Connor Mitchell is a hugely talented all-rounder from Zimbabwe and holds an elusive British Passport.
Mitchell, who represented Zimbabwe U19s at the ICC Under 19s World Cup in 2022, is an impressive young cricketer eager to make his way in the game.
The dual Passport holder enjoyed 10 outings for his country, averaging 30 with the bat including a highest score of 73 against Ireland. The all-rounder also bagged 11 wickets with his left-arm finger spin.
Prior to relocating to the UK, Mitchell was a member of the Mashonaland Eagles domestic squad, and the all-rounder harbours ambitions to play professional cricket in future.
Over the past three seasons, he has enjoyed successful stints in the UK for Warley in the Halifax League (2022: 720 runs at 25.71 and 59 wickets at 23.54), and St Albans in the Hertfordshire League (2023: 343 runs at 20.18 and 37 wickets at 19.81). Mitchell is now set for a new opportunity in 2025, having signed with Meerileu in Australia to play in the Bairnsdale Cricket Association. At the time of writing this he is averaging 46 with the bat & 5.5 with the ball, with best figures of 5 for 18.
On his return to the UK he is keen to be in/around the Derby area. No doubt an exciting pick up...
