Iden McCleave is a talented youngster from Sussex, England.
A reliable all-rounder, Iden has progressed through the ranks of Hasting & St Leonards Priory Cricket Club and now represents the Sussex Premier League side on a regular basis.
After a breakthrough season in 2022, The Southerner will be looking ahead to his first full season in the clubs 1st XI after securing his spot at the back end of the previous campaign. Scoring over 250 Premier League runs last season, the middle-order batter struck a best of 43 and the 18-year-old right-hander is a player of immense talent.
Also a handy right-arm off-spinner, Iden claimed 10 wickets at an average of 17.91 last year and will continue to take his opportunities to bowl over the course of the current season.
Iden has recently finished his 1st season in Australia where he excelled for Parkdale Cricket Club in the strong Cricket Southern Bayside Competition, taking 27 wickets at 16 and also scored over 250 runs at 18.
The all-rounder will now be returning to Australia in 2024, heading to WA based Rockingham Hornets for their upcoming Peel Cricket Association campaign.
