Kai Page is a talented prospect recommended by Dave Nosworthy (former South Africa A, New Zealand A, Titans, Lions, Canterbury, and Somerset coach), who he has coached, and mentored (as part of his company, Cricket Mentor Pty Ltd) over the past 5-years.
A batting all-rounder who bowls right-arm swing, Page plays for Randburg in the Central Gauteng Cricket League (Johannesburg), alternating between Presidents and SU1 sides.
Prior to making the transition into club cricket, he starred for Parktown Boys High School 1st XI. He was a stand-out all-rounder from Grade 10 (aged 16) to 12 (aged 17), and was vice-captain during his final year, and received full colours for cricket.
At age-group representative level, Page was selected for the Eastern Gauteng District (as a batter), and courtesy of his exploits at the Shawn Pollock Cricket Festival (where he was the second leading wicket-taker), he toured Sri Lanka as part of a South African Invitational side (as an opening bowler).
More recently, Nosworthy selected Page as part of his Lenasia Premier League (LPL) Under-19 Jozi Warriors Elite team.
Having completed his schooling, Page is now eager to focus on his cricket and has targeted a season developing his game in UK league cricket. A very talented all-rounder, who also benefits from a British Passport for ease of entry to the UK next summer.
