Keshan Wanniarachchi is an exciting top order batter who can either keep wicket, or bowl off spin, playing for Negombo Cricket Club in Sri Lankan domestic cricket.
Since his first class, and List A debut's back in March 2019, Keshan has established himself as an accomplished left-handed batter in his 50 plus games to date.
To date, Keshan has scored well over 1,000 runs across the three formats with 5 half centuries. Courtesy of his exploits for Negombo, he represented Colombo in the recent National Super League (Sept 2024), batting at 3, in a side featuring a raft of Sri Lankan internationals, namely Dasun Shanaka, Charith Asalanka, Avishka Fernando, Pramod Madushan, and Shevon Daniel.
Keshan has also enjoyed success abroad, playing various tournaments in Oman (D10, D20 D50) throughout the 2023/24 season.
He is now eager to embark on UK club cricket next summer, and is a player that comes highly recommended by his Negombo team-mates.
