Kieran McClintock (18) is an up-and-coming (UK Born) seam bowling all-rounder who holds both a NZ and UK passport.
Kieran currently plays his cricket for the Hibiscus Coast Cricket Club in Auckland’s Premier Competition. McClintock made his Premier debut at 16 and has filled a variety of roles across his time at the club. Kieran has batted at the top and middle of the order and is a genuine seam bowler. In last season’s two-day competition, Kieran took 17 wickets with an average of 20.53 and an economy of 3.79, including one 5-wicket bag. With the bat in hand, Kieran scored 5 fifties and one hundred for various teams last season.
Kieran’s performances saw him earn a place in the Auckland Cricket Under 19 Academy, where he continues to push for a place in the Under 19’s team for the National Tournament in January. The Kiwi is also a keen coach, and in the process of sorting his NZC Level coaching qualification.
Kieran is looking forward to a strong season with the Hibiscus Coast CC before looking North to continue his development as a player.
No doubt a player that will be in huge demand for the UK 2025 season.
