Liam Hehir is a talented seam bowler from Sydney, Australia.
Hehir who is front line right arm opening bowler and more than handy lower order batsman, who has the added benefit of holding a British Passport. The Aussie plays in NSW Premier Cricket for the famous Sutherland District Cricket Club (Home of McGrath, Smith and Zampa), and due to his strong performances in the 2nd Grade has recently broke into the 1st Grade side.
The British Passport holder recently finished his studies, and now has a Degree in Exercise and Sports Science, along with being a Cricket Australia Level 1 Coach (UKCC Level 2 Equiv). The seamer is fresh off a successful season in the UK where he was Overseas Professional for Old Northamptonshire Cricket Club in the Northants Prem League, where he was also in charge of the coaching structure at the club for both the juniors and seniors. Hehir took 31 wickets at 23 during the summer and also chipped in with the bat here and there with a high score of 60.
The Aussie has now signed for Hampstead Cricket Club for their Middlesex County Cricket League campaign.
