Libby Thomas (21) is a hugely impressive opening batter and wicket keeper from Wales.
Having being a part of Wales since the age of 10, Thomas progressed through the age groups, making her senior debut at just 14 in 2018. Thomas has now made the move to Glamorgan Cricket Club ahead of the 2025 season, as she continues to push for national honours.
Thomas has been a key member of regional academy cricket for the last four years repesenting Central Sparks Academy with both the bat and with the gloves. Her talent has earned her slection for the last two years representing England XI at the European Cricket Championship helping them gain victory with both years.
Libby has played for Worcester uni for the last 2 years with the honour to captain the side this year. Libby was a key member of the uni side opening the batting and wicket keeping helping them come 3rd in the indoor cricket competition and to help them win their outdoor league ladt year.
At club level, Thomas represents Briton Ferry Steel Cricket Club in the South Wales Cricket League, where she captains the Womens team. She also plays club mens cricket for Morriston Cricket Club where she has been playing first team cricket from the age of 12.
Libby has been coaching for a number of years helping to develop up and coming cricketers.
