Manoj Ingale is a genuine new ball bowler playing for the star-studded Maharashtra side across the three formats.

Known for his ability to shape both the new, and old ball, Ingale is also an aggressive lower-order batter. Playing in a Maharashtra side that can include the likes of international players Ruturaj Gaikwad, Kedar Jadhav, Rahul Tripathi, and CricX stars Ankit Bawne, and Ashay Palkar, Ingale broke into the side post COVID and has, to date, played 38 matches (12 FC, 16 List A, 10 T20).

Ingale took to domestic cricket like a duck to water in January 2020, bagging a 5-wicket haul (5-73) on his Ranji Trophy debut against Services, then a few games later took career-best figures of 6-34 vs Tripura.

In white ball cricket, whilst less prolific, he can lay claim to taking out Suresh Raina (former Indian star) in his debut Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20) match.

Ingale has, though, been particularly influential for Maharashtra in red ball cricket, with season tallies of 14 wickets at 20.57 (2019/20), 5 wickets at 24.40 (2021/22), and 12 wickets at 28.50 (2022/23).

Unfortunately, Ranji opportunities were limited last summer but he remains in the fold for re-selection in 2024/25. Following his domestic season, Ingale is eager to play abroad in 2025. If he performs anywhere near to the standard of his team-mate, Ashay Palkar, has during his previous trips, whichever club bags him will have some player on their hands.
