Max Wood is hugely talented wicket keeper batsman from Kent, England.

Wood is a fluent right handed top order batsman, and excellent gloveman who currently plays his club cricket in the ECB Kent Premier League for reigning champions Lordswood Cricket Club, where he keeps and bats 3.

The gloveman has been a part of the Kent County Cricket Club structure right up until 18s level, and last year broke in the 2nd XI side where he played 6 games over the summer. The youngster is keen to keep performing at club level and force his way back into the Kent CCC 2nd XI side moving forward. He has also been part of the 1st XI squad on a couple of match days last year.

Wood is fresh of a winter in Adelaide where he was on the Darren Lehmann Academy for the winter, and represented Adelaide Cricket Club, where he excelled starting in the 4th Grade side and ending the season in the 1st Grade side. The Englishman is also a qualified and keen coach, who is happy to be part of a clubs coaching structure when overseas. Wood ideally wants to be in/around a major city and keeping wicket, but is open to options outside of that and also playing as a front line batter.

Wood is determined to be a professional cricketer and no doubt an excellent addition for any club this winter....
