Muhammad Abid

Muhammad Abid is a quality UK based (Greater Manchester) leg spin bowling all rounder with an excellent record in UK club cricket.

'Mo' comes with quite the pedigree. In the early part of his career, he represented England Under 19s after coming through the Lancashire pathway as a junior and eventually earning a call up to the Lancashire 2nd XI where he played in all formats for the Red Rose in 2013 and 2014. He was unfortunate to not be offered a full time professional contract but he used this as motivation to go and put together some serious stats in club cricket.

He has represented several clubs with distinction over the last few years and has quite the record. Stints at Whitmore CC, Alsager CC, Newcastle & Hartshill CC, Warrington CC and Davenham CC have all yielded excellent results on the pitch but also excellent references off it, as Mo has been a hugely popular figure at his previous clubs. It is clear that Mo is an excellent performer. He is also an ECB Level 2 qualified coach and is now seeking pastures new, ideally as close to his Manchester base as possible but will consider offers within a reasonable travelling time. For any club seeking a UK based spin bowling all rounder, Mo would be an excellent choice.
