Rahul Tangirala is a hard working and technically very sound opening batsman (bowls some handy leg spin), from Sussex, England.
Rahul has been training and playing in an elite environment from a young age, as he made his Sussex Premier League Debut aged 13 and trains with international cricketers from the Sussex CCC 1st team such as Ollie Robinson, Cheteshwar Pujara, Steven Finn and Tymal Mills. This has very much helped him develop his game as well as being under the strong guidance of England World Cup winner Mike Yardy and ex Professional cricket player Keith Greenfield.
Rahul’s key strengths with the bat are being able to bat time whilst playing strong attractive cricket shots, since having more opportunities with the ball Rahul also also been able to show his qualities as a Handy leg spin bowler. After a tough end to the 2023 season Rahul has looked to kick on with his Cricketing pathway from 2024 with a high score already of 141, and is looking forward to hopefully a successful rest of the season for Sussex U18s in the 3 day and 50 over competition, as well as the Sussex Premier League with Three Bridges.
Rahul Tangirala is an exciting talent who is attending the International Cricket Programme in Melbourne this winter and is looking for the right opportunity that would be able to allow him to fulfil his potential.
