Raj Biswa

Raj Biswa is a dynamic and seasoned batting all-rounder who made a strong impression playing for Meghalaya in Indian domestic cricket.

Though a late entrant to the professional scene, he quickly established himself as a dependable top-order batter and a useful bowling option. Bursting onto the scene in the 2018/19 Ranji Trophy, Biswa scored 546 runs at an impressive average of 45.50, including two centuries and a career-best 175.

After a pandemic pause, he returned in the 2022/23 season with 294 runs at 36.75, before finishing his domestic career on a high in 2024/25 with 441 runs at 55.12, again hitting two centuries. Over his first-class career, he amassed 1,281 runs at a superb 45.75 average, showcasing consistent quality at the top level. In white-ball cricket, he has contributed effectively with both bat and ball, proving to be a reliable all-rounder.

Beyond India, Biswa has thrived during two overseas stints in the UK. In 2019, he played for Wem in the Shropshire Premier League, scoring 784 runs at 34.09 and taking 39 wickets at an outstanding 13.97 average. He returned in 2022 to Keynsham in the West of England Premier League, where he dominated with 1,235 runs at 61.75 and 26 wickets at 25.64.

Now retired from domestic cricket, Biswa is exploring opportunities in the Legends League and other global formats. With his proven track record across formats and conditions, he is a valuable asset both on and off the field—a seasoned campaigner who comes highly recommended.
